Exploring the Flavors of Bali: A Memorable Balinese Cooking Class with Nanda
I had the opportunity to participate in a remarkable cooking class led by the warm and humorous Nanda. From making traditional Balinese offerings to preparing mouthwatering dishes like jukut urab and sate lilit ayam, the experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I stepped into Nanda's cooking class, I was greeted with a genuine smile and infectious laughter. Nanda's warmth instantly created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, making everyone feel at ease. Her passion for Balinese cuisine was evident as she shared interesting facts and jokes throughout the class. Our culinary adventure began with an introduction to canang, the intricate traditional Balinese offerings. Nanda explained that canang is a symbolic expression of gratitude to the gods and spirits.
