Greetings, Curtis community! As a first-grade teacher, I am always on the lookout for exciting opportunities to expand my horizons and bring new experiences into my classroom. This summer, I have the incredible privilege of embarking on an adventure to the captivating island of Bali through the Curtis Travel Fellowship Program. From visiting a local elementary school to exploring ancient temples and immersing myself in a yoga teacher training, this journey will undoubtedly be a transformative experience that I cannot wait to share with you all. I am excited to infuse elements of Balinese culture, spirituality, storytelling, and mindfulness into my lessons, fostering a sense of curiosity, respect, and global awareness among my young learners.
